My banner, a silhouette of the Chesapeake Bay resembling a tree branch with a raven marking Baltimore’s location, makes a statement about the dire situation of the Bay.

A team of scientists from the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science rated the overall habitat health of the bay as poor, and the overall water clarity this year has been ranked as the poorest year on record.
